Hey guys and welcome back!
As you guys know, I don’t really do monthly favourites posts because I feel like I need to show new favourites every month and that can be quite expensive. But I’ve decided to start doing monthly favourites and show the makeup I’ve been loving that month. Not only new makeup, but also makeup I have rediscovered. So without further ado, here are my June Favourites!

The last couple of months, I’ve been collecting a lot of makeup. I have actually found a new love for cream products and decided to collect a few products to fuel my new love, haha. I’ll be filming a ‘Collective Beauty Haul’ for my youtube channel where you’ll be able to see all the makeup, skincare and other beauty related products I have purchased over the last few months. My makeup consumption was doing very well until about April, when things went a bit downhill. But for once, I don’t mind spending money on it. As you might or might not know (in case of not knowing, read here to know all about it) I’ve been on a low/no-buy process for the entirety of 2019 and I continued the journey of being aware of my consumption in 2020.

Like I said, I was doing very well and even had some months that I didn’t buy anything. I managed to empty quite a few products and decreased my makeup collection. Around April, I had the urge to try out some new stuff, like cream blushes and decided to purchase a few. A few months later, I expanded my collection again but this time I felt happy. They’re all products that I genuinely love and I’m actually using the products I own now. So I feel like although I spent a lot of money, this time I was using it more wisely than before.

FENTY BRONZERS

The Fenty Inda Sun bronzer has been a favourite of mine for a very long time (review here). Ever since it came out really. It’s a beautiful matte but not too drying formula that looks really lovely on my dry skin. Now, I also purchased its cream sister, the Cheeks Out Bronzer in Butta Biscuit and she’s just as lovely as the powder one (review here). Obviously the formula and colour are quite different but I love both of them so much and they have quickly become my daily duo.

FENTY CREAM BLUSHES

The Fenty Cream Blushes. Probably the product of the year for me. I was using lipsticks as blush for the longest time until I decided to purchase the Cheeks Out Cream Blush in Petal Poppin and I was sold immediately (review here). Cream blushes are my go to right now. This formula is quite sheer but buildable if you have a dry skin type and looks very natural on the skin. I was so in love with Petal Poppin that I decided to purchase another shade, Rosé Latte. That colour has been my go-to cream blush lately.

NABLA SHINE THEORY LIP GLOSS

I already tried the Shine Theory Lip Gloss formula from Nabla before. I have the shade Crazy Diamond which is now discontinued and wasn’t necessarily my favourite. It was lil sticky and thick. Nabla recently came out with their Miami Lights collection which featured, yet again, the lip glosses. I decided to pick up District and Champagne Supernova and I fell in love. Especially with Champagne Supernova which is a beautiful sheer lip gloss with orange shimmer particles. The formula is less thick and seems to stay put. Very long lasting for a gloss. So in love with them!

LISA ELDRIDGE VELVET FAWN LIPSTICK

The Lisa Eldridge lipstick in Velvet Fawn (review here), I have owned since december and I haven’t stopped using it ever since. This has become my daily lipstick and I have made so much progress on this lipstick. I’m actually thinking about repurchasing it when it restocks because it’s such a good, comfortable lipstick. The tone is perfect on me and like I said before, the comfortableness of this matte formula is insane.

NUDESTIX NUDIES BLUSH IN SALTY SIREN

After purchasing the Fenty Beauty Cream Blushes, I quickly caved for the very popular blush sticks from Nudestix. Nudestix has been a brand that I’ve been wanting to purchase more from, since purchasing the Bondi Bae bronzer from them (review here). I went for the Nudies Blush in Salty Siren, which was originally a limited edition collab with Estée Lalonde but is now available permanently. I really enjoy this blush. It’s more opaque and pigmented than the Fenty blushes but I love that on days where I want my blush to be more matte and more pigmented. Such a beautiful blush!

E.L.F. SMALL STIPPLE BRUSH

This brush has been added very recently to my collection. I purchased it after loving my big stipple brush from E.L.F. and I use this mainly for cream bronzer/contour or cream blush. It blends it out really nicely and I’ve been using a lot. Plus, an added bonus is the price. So cheap!

NABLA CHEEK SHAPER BRUSH

Omg, this is probably the best bronzer and blush brush ever. It definitely has been given the right name because the Nabla Cheek Shaper brush shapes the cheek region perfectly. It’s incredibly soft and easy to blend powder bronzer or powder blushes. I also really like it to set the entire face or the under eyes. Definitely one of my favourite brushes from now on.

E.L.F. PRIMER INFUSED BLUSH ALWAYS PEACHY

Another blush, haha. I really extended my blush collection the past few months. I used to have like three and I think I have about 8-10 now. I love this E.L.F blush because of the colour. It’s a real peachy orange and a very daring colour to wear. However, I do like the look of this blush. It’s very bright but warm enough to look nice. It’s very pigmented so you have to be careful but this will last me a long time. The colour is just everything.

MAYBELLINE FIT ME CONCEALER

This is definitely a re-discovery in my makeup collection. I was emptying quite a few concealers (like the catrice and makeup revolution one) and didn’t want to purchase some new concealers. So I decided to start using this on the daily and I really like it again. It’s very dewy and I have to set this under my eyes. But other than that, it looks very natural on the skin and provides enough coverage for me to be happy with. I have to mix 05 and 10 because one is too light and the other too dark, so that’s the only thing I don’t really like.

So that’s it for my recent favourites, or rather my June favourites. I can’t wait to try and make this a monthly thing, but I might skip on it if my favourites have stayed the same, haha. Do you have any of these products and what are your June favs? Let me know!
Lots of love and see you soon!

  1. I’m not really big on cream blushes but the nudestix ones really intrigue me. My problem is that while blending the cream blush my foundation underneath gets blended away in the process. But the nudestix look like they’d be very easy to use… would you recommend them for someone with my kind of issues with creams? 🙂

    1. The Nudestix are really nice. I think they would suit your skin type because they’re more matte and are less likely to pick up the foundation. The Fenty ones are a bit more emollient and tend to do that a bit faster. I also love to use a sponge or stippling brush (depending on the pigmentation) to prevent it from picking up the foundation. Especially a sponge is nice for that. Also, I like to pick up the product before applying it to the face. I don’t like to apply it on the face and then blend it out, haha. x

  2. I really like the Fenty cream bronzer too and I want the blush so badly, but I’ve already got the Honest Beauty one and since they tend to dry quickly I’d rather have one at the time. I love it though
