A “Little” Makeup Haul

Hello loves,
I normally don’t do makeup hauls but I thought it would be interesting to do this time because of the amount I ordered (help me). That way you can let me know what you want to see reviewed first!

I already told you in my ‘The Liebster Award’ -post that the mailman arrived at my door with some new stuff that I bought. I bought stuff from Beauty Bay and also from Boozyshop in pretty much every category except highlighter, mascara and setting spray.
Beauty Bay recently had a -20% student discount on your entire order, so it’s safe to say that I went a bit ham on their site. I think you can still get the discount on their site with Student Beans (not affiliated, just want to help you save some cash).CSC_2873

Skincare and Primer
The Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré is one of my favourite moisturizers of all time. I decided to repurchase it because I was running out of my other tube. I used the 15ml tube and this lasted me about 6 months, so I decided to get the 30ml because it will last me such a long time!

I also felt like I needed a new primer that is waterbased. Most of my foundations are waterbased and silicones + water just don’t work together. I came across this J.One Jelly Pack Gel Primer on Beauty Bay and the description really intrigued me. It’s supposed to be a hydrating primer which brightens, plumps and preps the skin. It’s also known as the ‘Makeup Gripper’. I will try this out thoroughly and get back to you!

Face
I’ve never bought anything from Kevyn Aucoin before, not even their popular contour powder. It’s just such an expensive brand and I couldn’t persuade myself to do it. However, that changed when there was a -20% discount, haha. The Kevyn Aucoin Skin Enhancer retails for €42.50 and is supposed to provide maximum coverage and is suitable for all skin types. I have already tried this a few times and I can confirm that it is extremely full coverage. I was blown away when I first used this because I used too much product. You truly need the tiniest amount! More soon.

Another base product that I bought from Kevyn Aucoin is The Etherealist Super Natural Concealer. This concealer is supposed to correct, cover and highlight and provides a natural satin finish. A lot of the reviews on Beauty Bay were extremely positive, so I’m extremely curious!

I have a few new bits from Essence, simply because I love the brand. I bought The Matt Touch Blush in the colour ‘Peach Me Up!’ It such a pretty, spring-appropriate blush. I also repurchased their All About Matt Fixing Compact Powder. It’s such a good powder to set your face and so affordable! Next, I really wanted to complete my ‘Using all cream products’ routine so I was on the hunt for a good cream bronzer. I came across the L.A. Girl Pro Contour Cream kit in the colour Fair.

Eyes
The reviews for this eyeshadow primer were so positive that I was instantly intrigued. The Milani Eyeshadow Primer has 31 reviews on Beauty Bay and gets a score of 4.5/5 stars. It’s said to help the staying power and pigmentation of your eyeshadows and prevents smudging and creasing. When combining the positive reviews and the price, I decided that I just had to have it!

Next, I bought a very popular product. However, I bought the shimmer version instead of the glitter version but I’m not mad about it because it’s gorgeous! The Stila Magnificent Metals Shimmer & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow in the shade Kitten is insane. I will do a separate review of this soon!

Guys, I already have enough eyeshadow palettes. Juvia’s Place surprised me in December with the bomb The Magic Palette and after that review, I knew I had to have more of their brand. So, I bought the Zulu Palette and it’s bright and colourful.

I’ve bought my first product from Sugarpill Cosmetics and let me tell you. I’m in love. I bought one of their Pro Pan Pressed Eyeshadows in the shade Buttercupcake. Buttercupcake is a bright true yellow shade and I haven’t used anything else lately. I will buy more shades in the future and then do a full review on them!

Last but not least, I bought the NYX Micro Brow Pencil. I really like it because it’s quick and efficient to do your brows and it fills them in quite nicely whilst still being natural!

Lips
And the last category has arrived!  I haven’t bought that many lip products. First of all, I bought The Ofra Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in Miami Fever and Charmed. Miami Fever is the colour that I have been lusting for such a long time and I finally have it. Charmed is a nice pinkish nude. I also bought a cult favourite lipstick and that is Faux by MAC Cosmetics. Reviews shall follow!

That’s it for my little makeup haul. Emphasis on little, hahaha.
Which products intrigue you and which do you already have? I’m super happy with the products that I got and I can’t wait to review them for you!
Lots of love and see you next time!
